The 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport features two different engine options, with each one boasting its own impressive performance potential. The standard engine is a 2.0L turbocharged one that comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic® and Sport mode. This engine is capable of producing 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
The available engine is a 3.6L V6 engine, which also comes paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic® and Sport mode. This engine amplifies the power, providing 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque.
Both engines are also available in an all-wheel drive configuration. With this configuration, you'll enjoy 4MOTION® with Active Control, which allows you to select from four modes that help the vehicle adapt to different terrain.
Snow Mode, On-Road Mode, and Off-Road Mode cater to different types of performance needs. There's even an Off-Road Custom Mode that lets you select different settings for steering and other all-wheel drive functions to give you greater control over your vehicle.
